Lungelo Gumede

I am Lungelo Gumede, a Bachelor of Education (BEd) student in my third year at the University of Johannesburg. Born and raised in Mthwalume KwaQoloqolo, I have been shaped by the values of resilience, hard work, and gratitude. I am passionate about teaching and committed to making a meaningful difference in the classroom. I believe the classroom should be a safe, inclusive space that challenges thinking and nurtures capable, thoughtful individuals.

As a future educator, my goal is to create a positive and engaging learning environment where all learners feel empowered to reach their full potential. I am driven by a desire to grow personally and professionally, and to make my mother proud through academic success and service to others. In my spare time, I enjoy reading novels, which broaden my imagination and deepen my understanding of the world.
