Lupia Nobrega

I am currently finishing a series of 18 works on paper, 18" x 22", ink, acrylic, gesso, wax, thread, and found objects, entitled "In The Park With My X".

The figures are lavishly aware of their love and ambiguity. Their momentum is outwardly expressed in the dangling naked bodies suspended by the threads, together, before the eyes of the viewer.

The exhibition will open on December 8th, 2013, at 8:00p.m. at the Leonam Studart Gallery, in Rio de Janeiro.
