Being a student opens up an individual to new opportunities filled with continuous learning, new discoveries and challenges but being a student-teacher is different. It is just like motherhood, very challenging at first but filled with little achievements which mean a lot and make lifelong learning much more interesting. My priority as a teacher is to promote the notion of learner engagement with content and with each other for learning to take place successfully. Fun fact; I genuinely enjoy listening to what learners have to say because it also helps me learn new things and keeps me thinking about the way they think.
Last but not least, I enjoy poetry and music and share a deep connection with learners that are also fond of poetry. During my spare time, I listen to learners recite their works. Below is a video to one of my works, where creativity meets poetry.
