Luther Meetze

A graduate of Newberry College in South Carolina, Luther Meetze has been pursuing his master's degree from the School of Seminary at South Carolina’s Columbia International University since 2011. Prior to beginning his graduate studies, Luther Meetze worked as a physical education teacher at Chapin Middle School where, in addition to teaching duties, he helped with the implementation of a uniform system designed to ameliorate self-esteem and dress-code issues at the school.

Strongly committed to community action, Luther Meetze has participated in a number of leadership activities throughout his academic and professional career. He taught Sunday school at Wightman United Methodist Church and volunteered for the Weatherization and Repair Ministry (WARM) Nehemiah Project, a community outreach initiative associated with the church. A South Carolina Life Scholar who appeared on the South Atlantic Conference Honor Roll for three years, Meetze has also been active in the Future Educators of America and Eagle Scout Troop 76.
