Luyanda Magubane

I’m Miss Luyanda Minenhle Magubane. I am an undergraduate student at the University of Johannesburg.A pedagogical practitioner majoring in English and ICT . I am also a tutor at Greenlane College for CAT. I enjoy working with the students there since they actually love learning new things everyday. A passionate educator that is dedicated to bridging the gap between technology and language. I am a lifelong learner, continuously seeking new ways to integrate the use of technology in schools and make this to be a norm as we are currently living through the 4IR. I am hoping to cater for children with different learning styles with the use of technology as well as learners of different languages.

One of my favourite hobbies is reading books mainly South African published books, since their focus is on how people lived and still live in South Africa. Reading these books also helps with my academics since I also major in English. And as an ICT specialist, I believe that technology is here to help us overcome anything. It can be technology helping one over language barriers in class or a workplace or helping one be a better writer or speaker than they were.
