Luz Rivas

Luz has a background in engineering, STEM curriculum development, program management, and educational research. Luz grew up in Pacoima, a neighborhood of Los Angeles, where she first became interested in engineering and computer science as a fifth-grader after learning to program in Logo. She’s excited to be working and involved in professional organizations that are engaging children and youth in engineering. Luz has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from MIT and a Masters in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
