There comes a time when everyone needs a cold beer, a stiff shot, and a dark watering hole where you can share your most intimate secrets with someone you barely know...that's where I come in.

Tending bar for the past five years has taught me alot; you're not just slinging drinks. It's about developing relationships with your patrons and knowing how to specially serve each one of them, how to read your customers, and making them feel like your bar is their second home. A bar tender should be someone that their patrons can rely on and confide in, and to my regular customers that is what I have strived to become. Not only do I know what they each drink, but I know about their jobs, families, etc. I pride myself on getting to know each customer intimately, and now many of my patrons I consider family.

I work at a small tavern, located in the heart of Tuscaloosa, known as Temerson Square, called Gnemi's Topshelf Tavern. We specialize in import and draft beers as well as a wide selection of top shelf liquors that are guaranteed to quench anyone's thirst, no matter what your poison. We're open seven days a week, with happy hour every day until 9 P.M., with drink specials and live music every night.
