Leslie Whittington

After 20 years in K-8 classrooms, I was ready to leave the schedules and pacing guides behind. However, I knew I wasn't finished working with kids and parents. I just wanted to do it in a different way! My goal is to work with students one on one and in small groups to give them space and time that is so often hard to find in full classes, but that they desperately need to thrive.

I enjoy working with children of all ages and am always fascinated with their innate desire to create and discover. My goal as an educator has always been to help students continue to connect to that innate learning. I believe this happens through building relationships, modeling life-long learning, and providing meaningful instruction.
