Lynne J. Williams

Lynne J. Williams received her Ph.D. in 2007 at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her recent work is concerned with changes in brain activation in aging and dementia, the development of conceptual mapping of meaning and how that is represented in everyday interactions and with pattern classifiers in brain imaging, including fMRI and fNIRS. She is also developing statistical techniques to analyze multivariate data as found, for example, in discourse analysis and brain imaging (e.g., multiblock discriminant correspondence analysis). She is currently a post-doctoral fellow at the Rotman Research Institute working with Dr. Cheryl Grady.
