Yan Li

Hi, everyone! My name is Li Yan, or call me Elaine if you like. I come from Zhengzhou which is a city located in central China.

Before coming to Cityu, I have finished my bachelor degree in English in Zhengzhou University, and have taught English in a secondary school for 2 years after graduation. I really enjoy the time teaching and having fun with my students, although they are not so cute when they act up in class ;) So I hope I could keep teaching in a college after finishing my master in English studies and maybe Phd in Hongkong.

In my free time, I like to travel and try out new things. In this summer, I just got the certification in advanced open water diver course, it's a amazing to feel the condition of weightlessness in the deep sea and visit cute creatures in the blue world! I am also a fan of folk and rock , muse is my favourite band. Also, I like to work out to keep fit and cook.
