I graduated in 2005 and practiced in a busy teaching hospital for 9 years before making the move to solo private practice in 2014. It took a long time for me to take a chance and leave a comfortable, stable, familiar place .

Change is not always easy but it can be good. There are things you will lose and will miss, but there are also things you will gain. So I try to enjoy the here and now. I miss the days when I trained for marathons without a pager and rode my bike more off the trainer, but I love running my own business and personally knowing every patient I see and deliver. It is a trade I have made for now...until I decide to make a different trade later.
