Lyds

First of all, let me introduce myself, I go by the nickname Lyds. lets give a brief explanation on where i got this nickname. My new project manager one day call me Lyds, instead of Lydia, I thought well damn, isn’t my name short enough? i didn’t think it would need to be shortened into a nickname. Well once people found out that she started calling me Lyds, the name just spread like wildfire. I have come to embrace my nickname, in fact Lyds sounds kinda cool!

I’m Newfie born, but Halifax raised. I have been living in Nova Scotia since 1999, Woah the whole Y2K thing just popped into my brain. I hold a Psychology Degree from Mount Saint Vincent, and a couple diploma’s from NSCC. I am currently a team lead a call center where i am responsible for the Day to Day activities as well as managing a small team of 12-13 people.

Work is the place where i have met awesome people at, and to this day i have had the best adventures with those guys ever!, hence the reason for this blog. I think being such good friends with some of my work peeps has made the job even better. I cant say everything at work is peachy, but of course not every job can always have its ups.
