Hello there! My name is Lydia, and I am currently studying English and Political Science at Azusa Pacific University. My goal is to attend Law school after graduation. Though my passion is creative and research writing, my love for children and social justice has broadened my career goals. I really value the lives of others, especially children. The respect I have for children stems from my own personal experiences, and my passion is to provide a voice for them. I feel their opinions and ideas should be valued no matter their age or ability. I also want to work with families in providing safe environments and allowing those who may be overlooked to have a voice in the legal system. I am very interested in learning about different cultures and from there finding the best ways to help create equality.
I really enjoy music, dance, writing, and using creativity as a means of enjoyment, and I feel it is a great way to to express oneself. I plan on using my different experiences as a way to inform the world of important issues through writing. I am always excited and ready to take on new challenges; I love learning about new ideas and people. I hope I can make a change in this world and have a positive, lasting effect on the lives of many!
