Lydia P. Andrews
Starting out in the music industry, Lydia Andrews set her sights on being the best at tour management and artist development. Originally wanting to working in video production, Lydia entered the music industry in a traditionally, non traditional way: by mailing out her resume to over 30 companies. Never giving up hope, she landed her first job at A&M Records as the Black Music Promotions and Publicity assistant. From there she worked her way up to Marketing Director for Elektra Entertainment, working with platinum artists such as Busta Rhymes and Yolanda Adams. While she truly enjoyed her job, she searched for more. So Lydia created an organization called Strength In Sisters (S.I.S.) Empowerment Group, Inc.; a group dedicated to bringing women together in the entertainment industry to share empowering information on careers, relationships, finances and self-improvement. By hosting numerous seminars and panel discussions, Lydia found her passion for empowering individuals to living their best life. This new path on her journey led her to seeking employment in the spa industry. After working 5 years in this industry, and 'feeding' her passion for healing and empowerment, she enrolled in the Institute of Integrated Nutrition to study to become a Holistic Health Coach. Shortly before enrolling, she entered a meditation teacher training program and successfully completed the program. Lydia is now the Founder of Being Well + Living Healthy, a company that provides individuals with health coaching services as well as meditation workshops. Her goal is to take the health and wellness industry by storm and teach, guide and support people to living healthier lives.
