Lynda Coker

Lynda started a second career after retiring from her secular job. She made a five-year plan to become a published author. Five years later, she realized her goal. Her genre of choice is Contemporary Romance where she strives to peel away the layers that obscure the emotion we call love, revealing the complexities with each beat of the heart. Lynda considers herself somewhat successful in the pursuit of romance, since she and her husband will celebrate their 50th anniversary in the Fall of 2014. They live in the Piney Woods of Northeast, Texas.

When taking a break from her writing, Lynda enjoys playing with her fabric stash, creating unique fiber art. Her page background is a snippet from one of her projects. More of Lynda's fiber art may be viewed on her blog.

While writing and designing, Lynda enjoys listening to soft jazz, country, and pop music. When working, she likes munching on her favorite snacks, watermelon and ice cream, just not at the same time.
