I am a 51 year old lady who is now, after 6 years of being a widow and losing her job at the same time, I don't do things by halves, ready to start to love myself once again.

I live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world, the West Coast of Scotland, with my 24 year old son, who is a cockateil named Charlie who is currently quite happily munching his honey bell.

From today onwards I shall be kind and gentle and patient with myself and no longer give myself a hard time over what has happened in the past, the past is gone and today I am smiling like I haven't smiled in a long time. Thank you.
