I am currently focusing my studies on private exclusive clubs where I hope to obtain an internship this summer as well as a lifelong career. I love making people feel happy and special. I realized very early on that if I had to work for the rest of my life I would do something I enjoyed, regardless of money. This year I joined CMAA and will be traveling to NYC for the national student conference, tour some of the best clubs in the area and network with some powerful managers.
I got a breif taste of the country club atmosphere my sophomore year of high school when I worked as a barback running around the club for the bartenders supplies. After a few months I was able to serve at a buffet and was so exicted. Seeing these special events and social gatherings was fun and something I knew I could do forever. I found the hospitality industry during my college application process and immediately knew what I wanted to do with my life. Getting a well rounded education in the process has taught me about myself and the kind of peron I want to be. I tend to be a people pleaser and I'm proud of it!
*I am also the one who informed Professor Weinberg of the typo on the first exam fall 2014 when they answer choices were f,g,h,i,j instead of a,b,c,d,e... you're welcome*
