I'm an Australian experience designer currently working for Deloitte Digital.
The bottom line of my role is to simply make better experiences for customers, consumers, users, or to be broad and put it bluntly; any human being.
Creativity is my driver here, and although it's imperative that we design for practicality and function, these elements should never overshadow our creative mindset required to evolve what we currently know or do into something different and unique. However it is often the case that this is not how business is done, and unfortunetly it has an immediate impact on the services and products we use today, they become 'same-old', frustrating and unpleasent to interact with. It is through our creativity that we can design and build interactions with a hieghtened sence of connectedness and personal satifaction, and that's what I aim to do.
I have a strong interest in academic research and would love to see industry and the research world work together a little bit more - Imagine how better off we could be.
