MY WEDDING WISH LTD: Lynette is the founder and CEO of national charity My Wedding Wish Ltd a national charity that gifts weddings to the terminally ill around Australia. To date the charity has gifted almost 600K of weddings, with almost 500 active volunteers. www.myweddingwish.org
NOW GENERATION: Lynette is a popular author, presenter, and social commentator in the field of teen behaviour, and in particular the disturbing narcissism epidemic which brings with it a cultural acceptance of violence and violent behaviour. These maladaptive behaviours are enabled and legitimised by social media and internet use. Many aspects of teen growth and health are impacted, including a disturbing negative impact on teen sexual health. Lynette's latest book, "Selfies, sexting, savagery and suicide: Welcome to the era of narcissism" will be available in 2018 and can be purchased through her website. The book responds to current socio-environmental impactors to teen mental health such as cyberbullying, sexting, porn addiction and violence and is written to help parents and caregivers understand and the world of teens today.
Lynette's latest area of research is the alarming upward trend of teen alcohol, tobacco and drug consumption and she is working on implementing a harm and demand reduction strategy into the Sunshine Coast.
Lynette is well known for her upbeat and engaging presentation style and is available as keynote speaker and masterclass facilitator at your school or conference.

Lynette is a sessional tutor at University of Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia and in 2015 was presented the University’s highest Award for a graduating student, the Chancellor’s Medal. Lynette is a past Council Member of University of Sunshine Coast, and currently sits on the boards of four national charities. Lynette is a Justice of the Peace QCAT Magistrate hearing cases in the Maroochydore courthouse.
