Lynnae Daniels

Hello! My name is Lynnae Daniels! I currently am located in Spokane, WA with my husband and three children. This is my first quarter in MLIS, and I am super excited about it! I have always loved the library growing up! I always used it as my getaway, and now I can provide the same service to someone else. I have a Bachelor's in history with a double minor in English and geography from Eastern Washington University. My original plan was to go into secondary education. However, I decided not to pursue that goal. I realized that was not the right fit for me, so then I took up the MLIS. I couldn't be happier with that decision even though I have never worked in library setting. I have decided to specialize in Children's Librarianship. That I can still work with children, but not necessarily in a teaching setting.

With three kiddos, ages 6, 2, and 1, I do not have much free time. Yet, I love to cook and bake. That is sort of my therapy! Other than to pick up a book at night and get lost in the story! Other hobbies would have to be health and wellness. I find that the healthier the lifestyle the happier I feel.
