New York-based Lynne Strong-Shinozaki has more than four decades of experience as a volunteer community service activist. She has guided outreach programs and fundraising efforts for several philanthropic organizations and undertaken neighbors-in-distress-related advocacy. Moreover, Lynne Strong-Shinozaki has advocated on behalf of the elderly, people with disabilities and for improvements in health and housing.

A longtime Roosevelt Island Residence Association member, Ms. Strong-Shinozaki. Since 2008, she has functioned as the elected chair of the Association’s Social Cultural and Educational Committee. In 2016, she helped achieve a Guinness World Record as part of an effort to write the most letters ever to military personnel within a month.

Active on Advisory Board of The Weill Cornell Community, Ms. Strong-Shinozaki provides recommendations to the dean of Weill Cornell Medicine. For the past four years, she has also served as an elected member of the New York State Democratic County Committee.
