Lynnette Bellin

Lynnette Bellin has focused her career on innovative and effective marketing and communications. After graduating from New Mexico State University with a degree in Marketing, she moved to Detroit, MI to work for General Motors in their world headquarters. During her tenure at General Motors, she created and edited communications and website content, executed vehicle brand plans and represented General Motors at events such as Hot August Nights, Woodward Dream Cruise and the Hot Rod Power Tour.

Upon completing her Master's degree from Wayne State University in Information Systems Management, Lynnette decided to move to Reno-Tahoe for it's beautiful mountains, outdoor adventure and proximity to family. Lynnette began working for the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority in 2002 as their Internet Marketing and Visitor Services Manager. She managed www.visitrenotahoe.com, creating website content and partnering with local government and tourism officials to gather and brand the region as Reno-Tahoe, America's Adventure Place. She performed regular email marketing campaigns, the authority's first text message marketing campaign, launched the area's first online visitor planner, and and performed website promotions in partnership with Southwest Airlines, ESPN, the Reno-Tahoe Open, and area hotel/casinos, ski resorts and golf courses. She also managed the website RenoRiverFestival.com and worked at the event for three years.

Lynnette joined Microsoft Licensing in 2006 as a program manager, and has since been promoted to a senior program manager. Since 2007, she has represented the Reno office with marketing and public relations as well as internal communications. Lynnette has hosted an open house and two Career Days at the Microsoft Licensing office, and is responsible for the social networking and website of www.mslicense.com. She also created an internal blog for Advertising Operations, and is one of the most prominent posters in the MSLInk internal blog. In addition to her marketing responsibilities, she is currently a project manager for Advertising Operations and has served as a program manager for Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) and Microsoft's academic programs.
