Lynn (Purnell) Hagan has been involved in women’s and children’s issues since the mid-1980s. As an informal science educator, she has worked toward the public’s understanding of nature and science. As a women’s advocate, she has worked on a grass-roots level to work as an agent of change for women and girls. She volunteers around the world, providing critical incident stress debriefing and psychological first aid to survivors of severe trauma and catastrophic events. Additionally, she is a facilitator for Resiliency Workshops through Red Cross' Service to the Armed Forces.
