If you have to get up to go to work everyday (and I do), ideally it needs to be something you really want to get up for. So how lucky am I?

Every day, I work on getting an organisation engaged in learning. Learning to make the individual and the organisation smarter. I want to know how it all fits together. I want to keep it changing to make learning easier, more available, more a part of daily routine. I want leaders to be learners so that they can always spot, and create, learning opportunities for their people. I want everyone to know what they're good at, and what they need to be good at, to be successful. We all want to be successful don't we?

I aim to do that by starting with me, I continue to tell the story so others can understand how it could be and how we can get there. I look at how other learning professionals are making that happen. I shamelessly steal their insight and share my own. And I continually remind senior stakeholders to stick with and understand the plan because it's fundamentally important.

Sounds simple enough, don’t you think?
