Life can be interesting and very challenging at times. I'd like to think that I roll with the punches, and I believe that has been the case in my lifetime.

I've always been a highly creative person and have tried my hand at many different mediums to express that creativity. I consider myself an artist most of the time. I love doing pencil portraits when time allows. During the daytime hours I am a graphic artist working in the marketing department in the Corporate Headquarters of a medical manufacturer.

I love dogs, all animals, gardening, summer, blogging, being home and having free time which rarely happens.

Up until recently, I was also a caretaker of my mother with dementia. She lived with me for 6 and a half years and I took care of her as I watched her spiral downward, until leukemia finally took her.

During her time with me, I started a blog about the struggles of caring for someone with this dreaded disease. It's called Boomerang-parents. Right now, it is my main passion as I continue to slowly develop it on my weekends.
