Lynsey Mims

Lynsey Mims is a Freshman Undergraduate student working towards achieving her degree at The Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University; specifically as a Marketing and Management double major. Another primary goal of Lynsey’s is being involved on campus in multiple ways. She is striving to establish her role as a leader within Greek life as a freshman and is determined to represent herself and her University to their fullest potential. Lynsey is a driven individual who utilizes her skills in communication along with her perceptiveness to be attentive and concise within each task she undertakes. Lynsey has worked with multiple volunteer organizations that have equipped her with the selfless knowledge of seeing what others need and knowing what needs to be done to obtain it. Her most recent volunteer experience consisted of working for a week in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado as a counselor at a Christian organization that strives toward improving the lives of youth as well as the lives of others outside of the program through ministry, aptitude, and application. She is passionate about volunteer opportunities and figuring out the best way to market that passion along with spreading awareness and involvement concerning different volunteer organizations and their goals. Lynsey will be a graduate of Texas Tech University in the spring of 2017 and plans to utilize her strengths in Marketing and Management at a nationally known volunteer organization such as Habitat for Humanity or The Red Cross.
