I'm married, and living with my husband, Martin Treanor, in London (the city that does sometimes sleep, depending on your hobbies).

I have no children (except for a grown up stepdaughter) and don't want any (not subject to change). We do, however, have a lovely cat called Kitty (it means I can sing the Soft Kitty song from Big Bang Theory to her - these small things make me happy!

We live as chemical and pesticide free as possible - eating organic foods, and using natural cosmetics and toiletries. This is both for our own health and also for our love of the environment.

We are both vegan. For me, this is sometimes a challenge, as I can't eat wheat, but it's all an adventure and we've certainly learnt how to cook more foods now! I'm fully in support of fairtrade, and try to only buy this where possible, including clothing (my favourite brand is People Tree).

My views don't always match with those of others, and I wanted to write this blog to share some of these quirky views with the world, and with my friends! Please feel free to comment and let me know what you think!
