Anna Lyons

I grew up in southern California, The OC. I have never wanted to own a house because that meant I was bound to staying in one spot. At 40, I moved to North Carolina. I thought I was leaving to get away, to simplify, to start new... but I have realized that I am still searching for something... moving TOWARD something, not away.

I am an Associate Team Leader for Whole Foods Market, a hairstylist of 20 years, and a massage therapist for 7 years. I actually like customer service! The hard cases are my favorite! It's a game to kill'em with kindness, try and turn them around, or just listen and learn from them. I learn something new everyday...

I am a single mom of a teenage boy who is sensitive, complicated and intelligent...and he makes me laugh. I hope one day he tells his therapist that the choices his mother made helped shape his character for the good! hahaha! I am grateful for my journey thus far...
