Mark Armstrong

Mark Armstrong is a supply chain professional with education, training and experience gained from over 20 years in multi-national manufacturing corporations and the Australian Defence Force. Previous roles include demand and operations planning, new product development and business integration. He is the currently the National Manager Supply Chain Optimisation for Symbion, a leading Australian pharmacy wholesaler .

Mark is also a Colonel in the Australian Army Reserve. He has completed full time service to deploy to Iraq and to attend Australian Command and Staff College. From 2012-14 he commanded the Queensland University Regiment.

He has tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Arts (Strategy and Management), Human Resources Management, Project Management and Organisational Change.

Mark is a PhD candidate at Deakin University, researching the effectiveness of the reviews into Army reserve forces.
