Matt is a UX/UI/Product designer with over 13 years experience in designing and building for the web. He currently is a Product Designer for Cotton Bureau and before that, spent 7 years as a partner in an industry-leading web design and development agency called Bearded. Matt believes in clear, unified, purpose-driven design that solves users’ problems and aligns with stakeholders’ goals. He enjoy exploring new possibilities in an ever-changing web, and his award-winning designs are as usable as they are beautiful.

He has worked with clients like Intel, PPG, The RAND Corporation, Angie’s List, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In 2014 Bearded was a finalist for Net Magazine's Agency of the Year.

Matt, also an avid letterpress printer, co-founded Wood Type Revival with Matt Griffin. Born out of Kickstarter: Wood Type Revival printed rare historic wood type, and turned it into digital fonts for modern designers. In his limited spare time (kids, amirite?) he enjoys printing with handset metal and wood type from his collection. His work can be found on Outdated Press.
