Known as the thought provoking rapper with a smile. This songwriter, praise and worship leader and inspirational speaker is originally from the Washington D.C. area and expresses her love for Jesus Christ through the genre of contemporary gospel rap, as well as encouraging others through the art of public speech.

Having over 10yrs. of experience, Miya Cynita a.k.a. M.C. Refined has had the opportunity to minister and perform not only as a solo artist, but also as a former group member of Triple-N-Gen, a native Maryland band. These experiences include not only singing and recording originally written songs, but also singing the national anthem at venues such as The Verizon Center, for the Washington Mystics. She has had the honor of working along side professional artists such as Canton Jones, Darwin Hobbs, Larue Howard and Brandon Camphor and One Way.

Today she continues to serve as a solo artist and inspirational speaker while sharing her testimony of the faithfulness of God to youth and young adults alike. Allowing her gifts and talents to be used to promote the Lord Jesus Christ.
