Melody E. Barnett is a currently serving in the capacity of CEO, Owner of M. Evangeline Consulting Group in Atlanta, GA. She is responsible for creating and delivering customized Business solutions to new, small and established businesses. She is also charged to act as an employee champion and change agent to existing clients as well as formulate business partnerships in order to deliver value added service to management. With over 22 years of experience in organizational development, employment regulations, employee relations, workplace program development, management training and coaching, and talent management; Melody continues to assist businesses in making positive transformations in the workplace.
Melody's tenacity to visualize and establish a sound workforce has enabled her to accomplish both small to large scale projects with numerous clients. She has worked with business owners and their management team from various industries and realized that the need for return on investment of Human Capital is vital to organizational growth from employee on-boarding to performance management.
Melody received her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Psychology from Georgia State University in Atlanta. She is a national member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and local member of SHRM Atlanta. She currently serves on the Legal and Legislative Committee for SHRM Atlanta and Chairs the Student Alumni Association Committee with the Georgia State University Alumni Board. In addition to serving as Board of Director at Georgia State University, Melody has volunteered on her children's school Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Melody has also been recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of Atlanta’s Top 40 Employees. In addition, she received the President’s Choice Award as Partner of the Year by one of her most esteemed clients.
Melody’s commitment to her profession and industry is further exemplified in her accomplishment in maintaining her SHRM CP Certification issued by the Society of Human Resources Management accrediting organization.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Melody serves as a Work Wellness Life Coach to individual clients looking to create a more authentic version of themselves in life and their work.
