M. M. Terry
Tennessee
I teach English composition and literature at a community college in Tennessee. I live with my toddling son and husband of over ten years. Together we three tell stories, watch birds, pat our cats, take walks, and read many, many books. We like to eat frittatas with chard and cheese, to watch it snow, to run out in the rain, and to make truck and elephant sounds. We also enjoy good wine (not the toddler, though). Alone (usually) I read Annie Dillard, Flannery O'Connor, Christian Wiman, Langston Hughes, Anne Sexton, Nikki Giovanni, and others. I especially enjoy listening to John Coltrane, Erik Saite, Samuel Yirga, Thelonious Monk, Johann Friedrich Fasch, U2, and Arvo Part.
