Born in 1996, Miguel grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. He graduated from Sanderson High school in 2014. Two years later he graduated from Wake Technical community college. In his first semester of college, Miguel was faced with some life changing experiences. Miguel and his wife were expecting a baby. Miguel faced some challenges along the way, such as having long study nights, and working long grueling hours at work. Ultimately, he overcame those challenges and earned his Associates degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation, Miguel took some time off from school in order to support his family financially, as well as, saving some more money for school. A year later Miguel enrolled at North Carolina Central University, in order to finish his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
