BIO

DJ UNKANI is a DJ and producer specialising in big bass electronic music. He is funky as f#*k and got bass to make your soul shake. He's been banging out bass for more than a decade and collecting music for 20 years. He’s played underground parties for years, popping up for a main stream gig here and there and is now ready to bring his music to the masses.

With a love for big bass breaks and a passion for house music he has created a flavour that brings these two styles together. With inspiration from artists like Krafty Cuts, UFO Project, John Course and Carl Cox just to name a few he likes a wicked and funky vibe on the dance floor. (micro bio)

He has been getting into Future House a lot lately and this is reflected in his sets currently with a lot of great music being released in this genre. Big bass has always played a big part of any UNKANI set and this will never change. Bass is the Power… Melody is the Magik, is UNKANI’s motto.

Currently studying a diploma of Electronic Music Production and Sound Design at SAE Brisbane, UNKANI graduates and the end of this year and is looking forward to releasing his first original productions.

Also working on his production label MAD AS FUK PRODUCTIONS INC he is also looking forward to creating his own launch pad for his and other artists material. It has been a life long dream to be able to create and release the sounds in his head to the world. He is also a big believer in supporting local acts and wishes to be able too provide a platform to help others realise this goal. M+<~
