JAYHAWK - 5th year senior at the University of Kansas - pursuing a B.A. in history and a B.G.E. in secondary social studies education - May, 2013 graduation.

EDUCATOR & FACILITATOR - As I complete my teacher training program, I look forward to the possibility of being a classroom teacher. However, I know from personal experience that learning is not confined to a classroom, a school, or a library. It takes place wherever stories can be told, connections can be made, and interest can be generated.

LIFELONG LEARNER - I am a curious, empathetic, and passionate young woman who is looking and excited to begin a career among the fields of historical interpretation, classroom instruction, education and outreach, and curriculum development. I seem to have a knack for getting others as excited about history as I am, and my fascination grows greater even by the hour.

OPTIMIST - It doesn't matter where I end up, it just matters that I can continue to assist others in the pursuit of knowledge, appreciation, and/or at the very least, happiness.
