Mohd Yunus Ismail

Comes from Batu Pahat, Johor. Among his numerous achievements are completing his Arangetram in March 2011 under the guidance of the Temple of Fine Arts, winning the BOH Cameronian Arts Award for Most Promising Artist 2009 and participating in the reality show, “So You Think You Can Dance?” by 8tv in 2008. He has a wealth of international experience, performing in China, USA, India, Thailand, Australia and much more. Locally, he has performed in musicals PGL, P. Ramlee as well as innumerable other performances including the Bharatanatyam production by Mystic Creations entitled An Adoration of...Ganga in 2011 and The Legend: The Journey Begins with Maya Dance Theatre in Singapore. In 2010, he participated in the Kennedy Arts Centre exchange program in New York and Philadelphia. In 2012, he was selected as part of the Asia Dance Company in Seoul, Korea in preparation for the launch of the Gwanju Arts Cultural Center in 2015.
