Facts:

Sonia is a half-korean girl was born in New York. Her mother is a Korean. She and her family moved to Daegu, South Korea when she was 17 y.o. Her Korean is pretty fluent now but she still need her mother for translations. She keeps learning Korean to improve her language skills.

Sonia's father is a jazz musician. She's been learning jazz since she was about 5 years old. She started her singing career from singing competitions. Although she's not always win, she kept practicing with her father.

At the end of 2013, she's found by M2N Ent's (one of big artist company in Korea) CEO and she's auditioned. Sonia officially become a preparation trainee of M2N Ent in the beginning of February and is now working hard to achieve her trainee title.
