Based out of Pasadena California M87 is an independent record label who specializes in producing indie and experimental music with a soul and funk twist. The owner of the label Joshua Newborn is a sound engineer that has been saturated in the Los Angeles music scene for over 8 years. He has worked with the top names in Jazz music and also ran the notorious Jazz club "The Pasadena Jazz Institute".
