Milena Andonova

I was born on January 7, 1973 in Odessa, Ukraine. I've been living in Burgas since 1975.

I studied at the School of Mathematics and graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". All my life I wanted to be a teacher. But I've been a principal of English Language Medium School "Geo Milev", Burgas since 2005 and now it's my favorite work.

The environment of smart, alert, happy, lovely, wonderful young people is charged with positive energy so that you feel younger.

Pride, satisfaction and joy - these are the feelings that I feel when I talk about my
school, my colleagues and our students.

Humanity entered into a new century - the century of knowledge, rapid development of new technologies. Realities of the contemporary world urgently require all possible use of intellectual and creative potential in order not only to preserve civilization, but also to ensure its prosperity. This is an important role for educational institutions. They laid the foundations for the creation of modern technologies, preserving and multiplying the intellectual and human potential, which is able to provide scientific and technical development. It is therefore extremely important for school to be not only providers of quality education but to be innovative. I work with these aims in mind.

The theory is a treasure and the key is practice. Is the key right?

Here, I think, it is more important to master the craft of the locksmith, that alone
will make the necessary keys to open the treasure chests.

I wish all readers to be good locksmiths, but the first task to unlock their own
hearts, to put in them the love and the sun to shine like a smile on their
faces to make them better, healthier and happier.
