Greetings Unit ALM101,

My name is Michael Eaton also known less formally as Mike, I'm 37, father to a cheeky eight year old son, a beautiful headstrong one year old daughter, and husband to my incredibly amazing wife who is a perioperative nursing educator.

I'm a genuine export from the United Kingdom, circa 1990 living locally within the Geelong region since we migrated from Birmingham. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business at Geelong's Waterfront campus, I've taken the path of organisational psychology and marketing (double major).

I currently work as a front of house manager at Epworth Geelong, looking after the front of house staffing for the food services department.

Outside of work and University when I'm not a sleep deprived zombie, I'm a Volkswagen enthusiast (Buses & Bugs), I love the out doors and working in the garden, cooking, taking walks down the waterfront and I have a knack for painting miniatures.

As a part of the ALM101 unit I look forward to meeting the students of the ALM101 cohort and developing my skills and knowledge around social media. As my current skill set resides with sending the appropriate gif to messages and changing the thumbs up to the laugh face emoji.
