Matt Jenkins

Entrepreneur, Cultural Enthusiast, and Community Advocate in Edmonton

Hi, I'm Matt Jenkins—a passionate entrepreneur and hospitality professional based in Edmonton, Alberta. Over the years, I've proudly owned and operated several successful businesses, including Fruits & Passion boutiques and the vibrant Fionn MacCool’s pub in downtown Edmonton. My journey also led me to Saskatoon, where I managed Georgia Mills Linens, immersing myself in the world of specialty home textiles.

My love for Brazilian culture runs deep, sparked during time spent living in Brazil and enriched by my marriage to my wonderful wife, Fabiola De Pina, who was born there. Fluent in Portuguese, I embrace Brazilian music, food, festivals, and the joyful spirit of its people. You’ll often find me sharing vibrant snapshots and memories from my adventures—whether dancing samba in Rio or savoring feijoada with family.

Beyond business and culture, I'm an avid hiker and culinary explorer. My passion for outdoor adventures takes me along trails through Alberta’s scenic landscapes and beyond. I enjoy discovering new recipes, local restaurants, and sharing my culinary journeys on social media.

Community means everything to me. I actively volunteer and support local causes, believing strongly in inclusiveness, kindness, and giving back. Whether organizing charity events or mentoring emerging entrepreneurs, I strive to make a positive impact and foster strong community bonds.

Feel free to connect—I'm always excited to meet fellow travelers, foodies, entrepreneurs, and community builders!
