Maaike Out

I am a collector, of places and people as well as objects. Not originally from Amsterdam, but this city has become my home and stolen my heart. The Amsterdam Travelogue is the result of my passion for finding & sharing. Of my love for the unusual things you find in a city when you are, or know, a local. And I would like people to discover the Amsterdam I know and adore. That's why I map out this city, either with places I love to share or personalized for people who want to really know Amsterdam.

I bike around in the morning sun and do some shopping, go the market to get fresh fruit and veggies for the week and maybe accidentally find some cool places. Then, meet up with friends for lunch. In the afternoon a glass of wine in the park, which turns into a barbeque in the evening 'till we get kicked out of the park.
