My name is Maame Sallah Afarwa Baakoh, with a pen name "Shanifa Salma". I was born in Mankessim in the Central Region of Ghana where I come from. I grew up with five siblings with both parents and happen to be the second born of both parents.

It was after secondary school I realised the need to learn about the religion I was born into and not call myself a muslim just for the mere fact that I was born by Muslim parents and bore a muslim name.

It was really fun learning about the religion that is always misrepresented by its followers and had soo many misconceptions.

This blog has been created to give clear understanding to the religion, Islam and explain some of the misconceptions about the religion.
