I'm a technology enthusiast that has been involved in mobile phones since back in the day with the Nokia 3310. Since then, I couldn't keep my hands off of smartphones. This gave me NOD.
NOD (Nokia Obsessive Disorder) is characterized by the overwhelming, uncontrollable affinity one develops for Nokia. Its sufferers commonly share personality traits such as: high attention to detail and build quality.
My passion for Nokia started back in 2004 when I got my first phone; the Nokia 3310 - the indestructible. Although the phone was about 4 years old, it was as good as new. I fell in love with the build quality. Years later, I began researching for a new phone, so I found out about GSMArena, which was and still one of the leading websites about smartphones and mobile devices. Back in the day, Nokia was the number one mobile phones manufacturer. I began reading reviews about its smartphones, and comparing phone models' specifications. I got addicted, and found myself memorizing Nokia's phones specifications and features without a hassle. I fell in love with Nokia's innovation and build quality, and became an enthusiast. My family and friends realized that I have a thing for Nokia, so they started calling me "Mr. Nokia" and "the Nokia guy". However, that doesn't make me a fanboy, I don't like bias and trolling people, I respect and appreciate all smartphones manufacturers. I love smartphones, tablets... gadgets in general. Everyday, when I wake up the first thing I got to do is check GSMArena.com, their blog, and watch Pocketnow Daily (http://youtube.com/pocketnow). This daily follow-up became a routine for me.
I'm not only into gadgets, I like cars, specially American Muscle cars. I also love listening to music - specifically Piano and Rock/Metal music. And oh, lets not forget about cats, dogs... most pets in general.
Currently, I'm a student at Misr University for Science and Technology, studying Business Administration, majoring in marketing.
