Software specialist with soft spots for hands-on testing, helping teams grow and building successful products and businesses. Lives in Helsinki, Finland, looking into relocating to USA, preferably California. Email me at [email protected]

I do stuff on:

- Testing, in particular overall strategies to build quality products, and exploratory testing, both hands-on and managing it. Love teaching folks to do deep, skilled testing. I'm writing a book on Exploratory Testing.

- Mob programming and collaboration. I'm experimenting with mob programming as a non-programmer and as a means of delivering exploratory testing hands-on trainings. I'm writing Mob Programming Guidebook with Llewellyn Falco.

- Speaking at conferences and meetups, sharing my experiences in hope to help others love their work as much as I do.

- Teaching kids programming with @LearnWithLlew. I believe programming gives kids the chance of avoiding fear and taking software as something we command instead of something they submit to. I'm really teaching them creating with computers while letting them find their passion within the many skills software creation requires.

- Communities and events as platforms for learning and helping one another grow. I'm the chairman of Software Testing Finland (@testausyhdistys) and an active member of @AgileFinland. I organize @EuroTestingConf to share all things testing. I mentor new speakers with Speak Easy and facilitate groups working towards more keynoting women.
