Mable Haddock
Mable Haddock has spent the past three decades advocating for and supporting social issue films and media makers of color. In her role as Executive Director & Founder of the National Black Programming Consortium (NBPC), Ms. Haddock used her keen business sense and strong artistic vision to develop NPBC into one of the leading and most trusted sources of programming, funding, and professional development for a vast diversity of filmmakers from the African diaspora.
Haddock is a graduate of Mercy College, holds a Certificate of Public Broadcast Management from the Wharton School of Business, was bestowed a Columbia University Revson Fellowship and has been awarded numbers film, television and media industry wards during her more than thirty years of Public Media service. Ms. Haddock recently completed her term as Founding Director of the Firelight Media Producers' Lab. Currently she is developing new projects to facilitate the emergence of the next generation of multicultural media professionals as well as supporting the on going contributions of veteran artists.
