Mac Davis Ngwa is a Nigerian media personality and philanthropist. He is a staff of Radio Sapientia, Onitsha Nigeria. Since 2012, he has been presenting the Make A Difference Show every Wednesday from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. The programme inspires people to make a difference in all they do. He also presents Weekend Bliss - a programme of cool music, etiquette and audience participation. It comes up every Saturday from 10pm till midnight.

One of his most popular shows is Crossroads. It comes up every Sunday night from 10pm till midnight. Listeners who are at a crossroad call into the programme, tell their story and get advice from professionals on the way forward. He also presents a youth enlightenment programme called Youths and Truths every Saturday from 5pm to 5:45pm.

Mac is the editor of Sapientia Magazine, a periodical published by Sapientia International Media. He has also written many articles for the magazine.

Early Life

Mac grew up in Calabar and Abi in Cross River State. Part of his early childhood was also spent in Cameroon where his mother hails from. He attended the Saint Stephen Postulate, Onitsha and the Saint Stephen Novitiate, Nkwelle Ezunaka in Anambra State, Nigeria from 1994 to 1998.

He also did studies at the Regina Mundi Centre, Ogwashi-Uku in Delta State of Nigeria where he later worked as one of the co-ordinators. Before becoming a full time radio presenter, he went through a course of studies in broadcasting at the Sapientia International Media in Onitsha, Nigeria from 2011 to 2013

Charity

Mac Davis is the Founder of Macdavis Charity Foundation a non-profit that supports orphanages and assists the elderly by providing some basic needs. The foundation also help youths to get out of prostitution and other bad way of living by giving them the opportunity to learn a trade with their volunteers. They refer to their work as Make A Difference Project.

Mac is a Blue Ribbons Worldwide Ambassador. Blue Ribbons Worldwide is a non-profit organisation founded by an American Woman – Helice “Sparky” Bridges. He has honoured many people with the “Who I Am Make A Difference” Blue Ribbons.
