Anne Obize, also known as MacAnne, Is a Corporate MC, Communications professional, Personal Development Strategist, and Social Entrepreneur.
She is an exceptional Corporate Master of Ceremony trained and certified by Talkademy, Africa's Premiere institute for Masters of Ceremony.
She has worked with different corporate brands such as TEDx Suleja, TEDx Gwarinpa, African Women Summit Kigali, Nigeria Television Authority Lokoja, Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), National Youth Peace Summit (2018-2020), The First Lady of Kogi state, Anambra Talent Show, Anambra state government, AFROSEED amongst others.
Anne is a changemaker who began her social impact journey at age 14, having represented Nigeria at the SAGE World Cup in South Africa and the USA. She is proffering solutions to social vices prevalent among teenagers and youth through mentorship and personal development projects.
In 2020, she founded Teens Connect Africa, a platform that provides mentorship and opportunities for teenagers to develop their talent and become productive members of society.
She has consistently hosted monthly mentorships since 2020, reaching out to over 1250 teenagers and over 3500 online. She has also implemented two editions of the Talent Development Project and a community development service project in the community.
Within the past four years, Anne has led several community projects geared towards revolutionizing the minds of teenagers and youth to help them discover their innate potential, thereby reducing the social issues among them.
She has reached out to over 10000 young adults within four communities in north-central Nigeria, including the federal capital city Abuja and online media
through various projects such as "The Hangout with MacAnne," "Beyond the Classroom," "I train heroes," "Not too young to make sense," "Personal development online Bootcamp" "The Talk with MacAnne Podcast," "Teen's capacity development," "The Ultimate Search Series" and other social media content. Etc.
She is the author of "Flip the Switch, How to Move from Confusion to Clarity," "Emerge; the Rising of a Star," and co-author "Of Beyond the Classroom."
