MacAnne Obize

Anne Obize, popularly known as MacAnne, is an internationally recognized Corporate Master of Ceremonies (MC), Communications Professional, Personal Development Strategist, Author, and Social Entrepreneur dedicated to helping individuals, organizations, and communities move from intention to impact.

A certified Corporate MC trained by Talkademy, Africa's premier institute for Masters of Ceremony, MacAnne has built a reputation for delivering exceptional event experiences across Africa and beyond. She has hosted and moderated high-level conferences, summits, trade forums, leadership events, and corporate gatherings for leading organizations including TEDx Gwarinpa, TEDx Suleja, the African Women Summit (Kigali, Rwanda), the African Food Systems Forum (Tanzania and Senegal), Michigan State University, the Intra-African Trade Fair (Cairo, Egypt), the World Trade Center Abuja, the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), AFROSEED, the National Youth Peace Summit, and several government institutions and development organizations.

As the Head Coach of Fordax Public Speaking School Lagos, MacAnne coaches executives, business leaders, government officials, entrepreneurs, and high-performing professionals on overcoming stage fright, building executive presence, and mastering public speaking. Through her coaching and training programs, she has equipped over 200 executives with the confidence and communication skills required to lead effectively.

Beyond the stage, MacAnne is a respected voice in leadership, youth development, and social impact. Her journey as a changemaker began at age 14 when she represented Nigeria at the SAGE World Cup in South Africa and the United States. Since then, she has dedicated her life to developing young people through mentorship, capacity building, and transformative learning experiences.

In 2020, she founded Teens Connect Africa, a youth development platform committed to raising purpose-driven and socially responsible young leaders. Through mentorship programs, leadership initiatives, community projects, digital platforms, and personal development interventions, she has directly and indirectly impacted more than 10,000 young people across Nigeria and Africa.
