Mac Dara Mac Donncha

Mac Dara Mac Donncha, native of Galway, domiciled in the Déise for quite some time. Immersed in Traditional Music and Hurling since birth, with Family background pivotal. Struggled with hurling on the playing fields although did win the odd Co Final in Junior! Took up Uileann pipes aged 12 in mid 1970s and still working on them. Piping and hurling - what a combination- possibly both requiring a little bit of madness - hence the mad musings!
